OUR HISTORY
Cantine Leopardi is the continuation of a story born in the 1950s.
Our great-grandparents and grandparents with their families left the Marche in the 1950s,
precisely from Porto Recanati (MC), to get to Fauglia, in Tuscany. They left everything, trying the
fortune. They purchased the old Ferrucci Farm, present at that time with the land,
buildings and company. And in 1950 the Leopardi Cooperative was born. The union of several families that
by cooperating together they created their work and laid the foundations for a new life. There
Cooperativa Leopardi deals with the cultivation of cereals, the production of wine and
of livestock farming.
Over the years the cooperative was closed, but the families remained and so did theirs
work and live together, supporting and helping each other.
Today in 2024, we are taking up our grandparents' project together.
This is how the idea of Cantine Leopardi was born. A company made up of a new way of doing agriculture,
united with our origins.
New methods, new processes and new ideas, together with the basics of genuine agriculture such as
used to do in the past.
This project was born with the desire to bring back the hard work done in the past by our teams
families in a new reality with young ideas.
We want to enhance our territory, create union with the companies and associations near us
and we believe in a relationship of trust with our customers.

Our bond with this company is above all an emotional bond with the place where we were born
and grown and which for us has a significant and important history that began over 70 years ago.
This is why we are very keen to enhance its meaning and make Cantine Leopardi known for
what has been and what will be.
